Few things are as honest with us as yoga and meditation.
Some of us glide through the standing poses—floating and levitating with ease—only to find ourselves totally unable to simply be in Savasana (Corpse Pose). For others, it’s the vulnerability of trying something we think we aren’t good at—struggling with inflexibility or distraction or just turning upside down—that leaves us feeling exposed.

Today at the Ambassador Summit we had four breakouts sessions delving into various aspects of integrated living. We explored ways to find balance and tools to use when off or misaligned. We practiced getting really clear on what we want to manifest in our lives and discussed what hindrances often get in the way. We cultivated appreciation for all of life's blessings, paying particular attention to appreciating ourselves.
We declared our deepest intentions to the universe and held space for each other to explore emotions, thoughts, fears and challenges. Prior to the Marathon de Paris our @lululemonfr team welcomed runners to sit in the bulle de meditation and experience a 4 minute meditation. Below is a taste of what they heard:
Meditation and running are very similar and share the aspects of consistency and discipline. One is sedentary while the other is active but they are both mindful practices. The intention is to let go of the unnecessary noise and chatter in our mind and focus on the present moment. Most of the time, we are in our heads analyzing situations, having conversations with ourselves that aren’t serving us. Meditation allows us to keep our attention on what’s going on right now. It supports facing challenges one at a time, without anticipating the next hurdle. Meditation allows us to rediscover the joy in running and in life. 29.4k ♡
